Robert "Bob" Dunn

Fellowship we’ve had in service,

Common problems and belief,

Now our hearts are drawn together,

By the bond of common grief.

We are thankful for the days,

We’ve had with Lion Robert Dunn, who’s joined the dead.

But thankful more that we have hope,

For that which for us lies ahead.

Each of us must run their course,

Till he who doeth all things well,

Will call us too, to join our friends,

Who now beyond our seeing dwells.

And so for now we say “Farewell”

And carry on the work below.

Believing that the time will come,

When we will once more say “Hello”.

Lion Robert Dunn joined our club in 1989.  He held the office if director, vice president and 1996 - 1997 he became President of the Huttonville Lions Club.

We shall miss the presence of Lion Bob Dunn at our meetings and the assistance he gave our programs of service.  We acknowledge the obligation that is left with us by this Lion - that we carry on, each of us with greater zeal, in order that those things which he would have help us to accomplish will not be left undone.  We seek to express once more the affection that we felt for Lion Robert Dunn.  To his loved ones, we sincerely give our heartfelt sympathy.  We pray the may realize every comfort and hope on their faith in this time of sorrow.
